This simple aesthetic brings many complex design details, pushing the conventional limits of craftsmanship. The oak wood and walnut tree details are coated with a clear lacquer to protect and enhance their qualities. Lacquer creates a hard, durable surface resistant to scratches, dust, and dirt. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a refined aniline leather, corn-tanned on a natural by-product of maize and entirely free of chromium and other metals. Featuring CAL 117-certified foam upholstery on the seat and backrest, this chair perfectly balances plush comfort with reliable fire safety, meeting strict US standards for built-in flame resistance. Crafted in Italy from carefully selected European bull hides, the leather is Crib 5 (BS 5852) certified and REACH compliant — making the Collector Chair equally suited for private interiors and contract environments.
