Sculptural Minimalism since 2012
Arches and architecture have always been the essence of the Kristina Dam Studio’s monochrome collections. We mark our focus on sculptural minimalism with our clean, honest, and contemporary designs and acclaim our passion for craftsmanship and material.
Kristina Dam Studio was founded in 2012 by graphic designer Kristina Dam. The original design idea for the brand was to create industrial design with an art-based approach, to make art and interior design merge, both within furniture, accessories, art prints and illustrations

The Founder
Meet Kristina Dam
Kristina Dam was born and raised in Præstø. She is educated as a graphic designer from the Royal Academy of Art and Architecture and graduated in 2007. In 2004, she exhibited her first piece of furniture in collaboration with her fellow student at the design fair ICFF in New York, where her journey as a designer began to blossom. Since she was a child, Kristina has loved to paint and be creative, and at the age of 12, she sold her art and objects at markets.
Before her education at the architecture school, Kristina attended Glyptoteket's drawing school, where she learned the precision of perspective drawing with a pencil, leading to her first illustrations when she started Kristina Dam Studio in 2012. The philosophy behind Kristina Dam Studio was a personal wish that everyone should have access to accessible art, which is why she worked primarily with art prints in the beginning.

Sophisticated, aesthetically beautiful, and easy to fit into any space or home, adding a unique and bold statement to the interior.
Designs by Kristina Dam Studio are graphic and architectural, with a high level of detail and excellent craftsmanship, made from natural materials. Kristina Dam believes that mastering the monochromatic palette enables us to create timeless and enduring designs. Kristina aims to use basic colours in a neutral tone and materials to develop relevance throughout many generations. Every design from Kristina Dam Studio has a distinct Scandinavian and architectural expression that is recognisable.
Ceramics & Terracotta
Most of our flower pots and vases are made in stoneware using moulds, finished with beautiful matte glazes that enhance their exquisite, simple shapes. The fascinating thing about clay as a material is the variety of expressions created during firing, resulting in the uniqueness of each piece. It is a highly delicate process that imparts character, style, and bold, expressive designs.
Wood
A high level of detail and meticulous craftsmanship is the key to beautiful design. Our oak furniture is made from solid FSC™ certified oak, so it is possible to polish and oil the furniture to give it new life and a longer lifespan. Read more about FSC™
Steel
"The metal stands out by starkly contrasting the warm wood – it does not become cold in its expression, which is exciting when putting together your interior. For me, working with tactility and different surfaces in an interior design is important. It has succeeded in creating tension and awakening the senses."
